    Doctor Who is a minor *cough* obsession of mine, though only the new series.

    I love it, and I think David Tennant is amazing as Ten. Series three was great, but I wish they'd kept Martha full-time for series four Sad

    I was so annoyed when I heard Catherine Tate was to become the new assistant - I hated her character Donna in the Christmas special!

    Any other fans of the Doctor?

    I've only really seen the first series, but I liked Billie Piper in it.  She was saying in an interview that David Tennant's nickname on set was "ten-inch" Grin

    Yup, Catherine Tate is the new assistant. They announced it a week ago:

    I really didn't like her character in The Runaway Bride so am absolutely horrified she'll be back for a full series Sad

    Martha is back though, halfway through series four.

    I only recently started watching Dr Who a few weeks before it ended due to me being put off by the older Dr Who's and the previous Dr Who in the new ones, although I do think David Tennant is brilliant as The Doctor he has got that cheekiness that you would expect from Dr Who to be honest, I think Catherine Tate could be good as the new assistant but I don't think she can be better than Martha, I also read not long ago that Kylie Minogue is in the Christmas Special and she is to be a Robot
